Five mega-developments within 4 mile radius are close to approval: Heyford Park (New Town), Hawkwell, the Oxfordshire Strategic Rail Freight Interchange, Puy du Fou, and the Tritax/Albion warehouses at Baynards Green.
Together, they risk overwhelming the area—potentially adding 45+ million vehicle movements a year and 50,000 more people.
This petition calls for a fix to a flawed planning process: decisions are being made in silos, without a proper assessment of combined (cumulative) impacts of multiple developments—an issue that could affect regions across the UK, including those targeted for new towns.
