Kirtlington Village Hall, on the fringe of Kirtlington Park, is well situated in idyllic and picturesque rural surroundings, readily accessible, but away from the noise and distractions of main roads.
Being comprehensively equipped, all types of function can be catered for, from the smallest party to events for up to 150 people with both inside and outside activities in a completely safe and traffic free environment.
The Hall provides indoor sporting facilities and is equipped with showers, adjacent to a large sports field used for football and cricket.
The Hall is a registered charity run for the benefit of the village. It offers facilities for hire including a large function room linking with a fully equipped kitchen, two/three smaller committee rooms and changing rooms. Besides being used regularly by village groups such as the Youth Club, Badminton, WI and Bowls, it is frequently booked for a range of activities including:
- Wedding receptions
- Anniversaries and parties
- Sports and training events
- Holiday Clubs
- Training sessions
Kirtlington Village Hall Facilities:

- Meeting room for 35 people with serving hatch access to kitchen
- Ground floor room recently vacated by the doctors surgery

There are 3 rooms available for hire each providing a variety of choice.
FACILITIES
MAIN HALL
The main hall measures 50ft x 30ft with a high ceiling and a polished wood block floor, French windows open out onto a paved area, playing fields and country views. There is a serving hatch to the kitchen, which is well stocked with cooker, microwave, fridge and a water urn. Simple tableware and cutlery are available and for larger events there is china and glassware for hire. Windows are curtained for improved acoustics and wall mounted quartz heaters provide the heating.
Trestle tables and chairs are available and the hall is licensed for 120 people. A public address system is in place and a projector available for hire.
Please note Kirtlington Village Hall currently is not licensed to sell alcohol. However, we are allowed 12 Temporary Event Notices (TEN) each year. We have to apply for these from Cherwell District Council. If you want to SELL alcohol at your event you need to seek the permission from the Village Hall Committee. In order to do this, please download, complete, print and sign the following Cherwell form. THIS FORM IS REQUIRED AT LEAST ONE MONTH BEFORE YOUR EVENT.

NB. The SELLING of alcohol includes selling tickets advertising free alcohol.
HAZEL ROOM
This is a large and spacious room, 24ft x 15ft, with vinyl floor covering, French windows and other large windows all curtained. The room has the same country outlook as the main hall. There is a serving hatch to the kitchen. It is an ideal setting for small meetings as well as one to one sessions. The room with tables and chairs can seat up to 35 people and is accessible to wheelchair users.
OAK ROOM
This meeting room is 24ft x 17ft and furnished with conference style table and chairs. It can seat up to 25 people and is an ideal setting for small meetings and one to one sessions. Unfortunately there is no access for wheelchair users to this room as it is sited upstairs.
IVY ROOM
The newly refurbished Ivy Room is perfect for professionals looking for somewhere for one-to-one work with their clients. There are comfy seats, a low table, a small basin and space for the room hirer to set up their own therapists’ couch.
